Thanks for all the emails in response to my request for information. I have talked with several people and organizations that can help our daughter when we get her home. I also received information about upcoming events here in Roanoke where we can connect with other families. I truly appreciate the support and encouragement we have received from so many!

Doing Research...Any Advice or Info is Appreciated

For those of you who don't know, our daughter Lina, has Dwarfism and an unrepaired cleft palate. I have been doing lots of research about these conditions, and looking for the best team of specialists to help her when we get her home. My biggest concern is the cleft palate. She is now 4 years old and as each day passes, her speech is more and more affected. She has had frequent sinus problems and I worry that she may also be having difficulty with eating. Please feel free to email me with any advice or information....your help and support is greatly appreciated. Keep Lina in your prayers.

YAY!!!! Teri Lynn has a family!

I was so excited to see Teri Lynn show up on the MFFM page. It was so heartbreaking to see that she had been moved to the institution. I know her new family will be blessed.
